- 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 c cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 c spicy BBQ sauce
- 4 pineapple rings
- Fried onions
- In a mixing bowl, add pork, salt, pepper, cilantro, garlic and BBQ sauce. Gently combine.
- Create those yummy sliders. I use a mason jar lid to make uniformed sized patties. It’s the perfect size for slider buns, and it’s something I already own a hundred of. I pop them in the refrigerator for 15 mins or longer while I gather everything else I need to serve. You don’t have to, but it does help bind and keep their shape.
- Grill the sliders for about 6-8 mins on one side, flip and cook until done. It takes about 15 mins total time for these to fully cook thru. Add the pineapple rings to the grill during the last few mins of grilling. It takes about 1-2 mins on each side for the pineapples to get those beautiful grill marks. Add the buns to the grill for 1-2 mins as well.
- Top the patty with 1/2 a pineapple ring, and the fried onions.
If you opt to make regular sized burgers, this yields 4.
